Two main pieces of the 1918 R-68 canon - the transport carriage and the barrel - were discovered on the territory of the Dretun’ military testing ground in 2000. Probably, it was moved out of the road during transportation and got stuck in the marsh where it was preserved until the year 2000. The canon came out in a good conditions and was restored quite fast.
